Do I need certified or notarised translation?
It depends entirely on the receiving authority's stated requirement. Singapore ICA explicitly requires notarisation for translations from a private company; most Western immigration authorities (UK, US, Canada, Australia) accept a standard certified translation without notarisation. Check the requirement stated by the specific office or embassy you're submitting to.
How long does notarisation add to the process?

Can the notary translate the document themselves?
