What Is MIDA?
MIDA (Malaysian Investment Development Authority) is the Malaysian government's principal agency under MITI for promoting and coordinating investment. Applications to MIDA — including manufacturing licences, tax incentives, and expansion approvals — are submitted through the InvestMalaysia portal. A certified translation is not the same as a plain translation: MIDA and SSM (Companies Commission of Malaysia) require translations to carry a signed accuracy statement from the translator.
